Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Banana Cookies

Whenever I get a sweet tooth that won't go away I like to try and come up with a healthy recipe to help satisfy me! I never follow a recipe and always just throw together whatever I have, trying to keep in mind calorie content.. So I tried to keep these little cookies on the low-ish side while still being delicious!

I am also trying to avoid artificial sweeteners so I didn't add ANY. These cookies are made with whole foods and all natural ingredients!

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups large flake oats
  • 2 tbsp cacao powder
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 mashed ripe bananas
  • 2 tsp cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp natural crunchy peanut butter
  • 2 tbsp dairy free, no sugar added, chocolate chips

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Add oats, cacao, cinnamon to a medium sized mixing bowl
  3. Mash 2 bananas in a small bowl and add softened peanut butter(microwave for 10 seconds if needed)
  4. Pour mashed banana & PB mixture along with 2 eggs into the large mixing bowl and stir until well combined
  5. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper and place heaping tbsp of batter on the sheet (Should fit about 12)
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes
  7. Recipe yields 18-22 (I ate a lot of the batter as I was making them and got 18)
